Speech of the lawyer Carlo Carrozza entitled: "L’avvocato 2.0: le nuove sfide dell’era digitale"
Nowadays, lawyers must review their role in the digital society.
Increasing market competitiveness, reduction of professional fees, sharpening of professional responsibility and general economic crisis must prompt lawyers to implement a transformation of their studies, of their professional activity and to rethink the entire business model in order to fully grasp the opportunities of the digital age.
Efficiency of internal production processes and new market segments, to be achieved through a clear and defined strategy and the use of artificial technology and intelligence, the two cornerstones to face the digital revolution, a revolution that some have defined similar to the one that it affected manufacturing companies in the nineteenth century with the advent of the steam engine.
An indispensable "legal innovation" that could give renewed strength and prestige to the Italian law enforcement agency.
This was also discussed in the Conference "Payment services in the era of digitization: technological innovation, customer needs and regulation", organized by the Association of Lawyers of Messina, the University of Messina, the Association of professors of economic law and of the Order of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts of Messina held in Taormina on February 15th and 16th 2018, in the congress hall of the Excelsion Palace Hotel.
